I can't argue the decline in aesthetics suffered at Perazzi since the loss of Daniele. Perazzi and Beretta both continue to supply answers to questions never asked. And I have no idea how many of the revised guns are in the hands of international competitors. I do know that regardless of model in use, Perazzi continues to be a significant contingent in the global shooting world. Like was said - Marketing! And I've seen that case colors are available from Perazzi still on special order - some kinda "classic" MX8 model or sumsuch. FWIW as I understand it the new Perazzi models have no changes in the actual functioning parts and only the exterior dimensions are changed. I could be worng on that. And this looks so much better Wonky , totally exquisite . .................. :goodjob:
available at some unspecified fee I presume. Perhaps a yearly charge like a membership?Ian,
Many options available , apparently quality and reliability are additional extras.
I've shot them on and off for ages and I don't know where this issue stems from to be honest. I have never had a problem with a Krieghoff. Had bottom pin problems with Miroku, had a number of 686/687's refuse to fire the second barrel. Had MK38's with cracked stocks - oh and a couple of Perazzis with the same problem. Had Beretta autos which refuse to cycle, had DT10's with all sorts of problems. But I have NEVER had a problem with a Krieghoff. Speak as you find.Ian,

When shooting rifles we were taught to wait 30 secondsI have seen others have a non fire and straight away open the gun, makes me shudder!! I wait with gun raised(safe) and count to 5 slowly before opening, barrels down with breach away from face/body. is there any specific general rule regarding how long before you open breech?
I used to be very wary of any cartridge that did not go bang on the trigger pull and wait for a while ... now I just open the gun and chuck them in the bin like everybody else does when it happens... to be fair it is a rare occurrence... although I have seen a few Fiocchi carts do it.When shooting rifles we were taught to wait 30 seconds
