I shoot one and I must admit that they don't have the most sleek profile. I'm not overly keen on the engraving either (prefer the plain look of my other gun - DT10).  BUT, the parcours has lovely balance, handles like a dream and the trigger is better than anything else I've ever shot.
I've had my parcours about two and a half years.  I've used the DT10 twice in that time - when my parcours was in for it's service.  Personally I shoot better with the parcours, but that's probably because it's what I use all the time and I'm used to the balance and sight pictures with it now.  I'd probably still do OK with the DT10 if I used that exclusively, but I feel more confident and get more enjoyment from using the parcours.  Will sell the DT10 at some point, but I'm waiting to see if my husband wants a new gun as it's probably worth more as a trade in.

As we are doing K pics , I bought the K80  below years ago as it had a dog engraving on one side ( a good a reason as many  justifications I hear!  ) . It’s the much maligned Dural lightweight action ( it never stopped me using an ounce and a quarter Victory 7s when FITASC rules allowed it 😂) . It is a nice looking gun IMHO  It always attracts attention when it’s stood in a rack .  It’s actually a lot lighter and faster to handle than the other gun in  the picture, a 32” MK38 trap ( with a few mods)  which is my current all rounder which to be fair is a lovely looking gun in it’s own right .  The Kreighoff must a fair old age as the action says W.Germany on the action  .

Thats a great pair, would love a go on the K, so what mods on your miroku? long teagues..

Long teagues , J and P custom hammer springs , firing pins , and top lever spring . Trap pad replaced with a Kickeeze , and the stock fitted to me and cast ( all stock work  by Mr Teague himself )  😀 I’ve been shooting it for a year now and love it to bits .

The K80 with the big bold lettering on the side I always found attractive, the deep germanic engraving is a bit too much bratwurst and lederhosen for me. I tried a Parcours and it felt amazing and fitted me straight from the rack (never happened before), shame the bank account wouldn't stretch. As for style, I will leave that to people who know about such things, I wore neon green socks in the 80's.

This always baffled me. There must have been a contest in Germany for children under 12 to come up with a logo that had to be originated on an Etch a Sketch. And the winner is..

Donkeys years ago I shot in  the USA at the National Sporting championships * . They used the National skeet association grounds in San Antinio . Krieghoff had a  full time shop there , it was astonishing to see the business they were doing punting gold adorned top levers, and top locking bits ( I forget the proper name ) .  Gold clays , gold eagles ,  “ Old Glory “ you name it they sold it.  And the punters were snapping them up . Hi spec k guns were big big business .   The guns we see in the U.K. are purposeful and restrained 🤣

* the hilarious rule for that year made Brit shooters move up a class , not that I had a prayer of being in the top 500 anyway ! But for the first time in my life I found myself in A !

just ordered springs from JP for mine after getting a non fire from a fiochi(first one) does mr teague still do fitting?

A single misfire from a Fiocchi is almost certainly not the guns fault. And if it were, you likely need the firing pins sorting, springs won’t be the culprit?

Any competent gunsmith will be able to change the pins and springs for you.  My husband had the J and P ones fitted a few weeks ago in his 725.  His gun struggled on Fiochhi F3 Bior wad primers, but he was also getting the odd misfire on other cartridges as well.

He was 15 months ago , as Nigel Teague , Gunfitting Services . An hour with him,  pad , spacer ,  fitted and stock cast was around £280 with return postage ( I took the barrels home with me after the fitting ) . With respect to the J and P springs , the best advantage , I feel , comes from the top lever spring on the Miroku . The lock up is rock solid .  Will is right , With the new hammer springs and pins  fitted I  still had a few misfires on Power Golds , which I put down to the primer,  as the pins strike was solid . I changed cartridge and   I’ve since shot around 6000 Olympic Blues , and 300 Black  Gold game without a hiccup . You’ll find the  J and P firing pins will still pit in due course , but so have the 2 piece pins on my Fluffy Rabbit 80!

Thanks,Will H,Ell S,Sian,Martyn B,Bebo,  have already taken the springs out,its a 3800mk, second hand, I am geussing hasnt been serviced in a long time, anyways bottom pin return spring light rust so actually had to tap pin out lightly, cleaned it all and re assembled.

the bottom pin is worn and pitted, found a guy who is making me a new pair of pins from silver steel(gun smith) just ordered a spring kit from J&P as everyone rates them, includes the bottom return spring and top lever spring.(postage is expensive though eh?)

re assembled using original parts and used 50 birder sunday,no hang fires but there again didnt use fiochi ! obviously the new pins and springs and a full clean should make it as reliable as can be, from there on in any hang fires "should" be hard primers. Either way it means I will be able to go to a stand and concentrate on the bird..or in my case try to!

I have seen others have a non fire and straight away open the gun, makes me shudder!! I wait with gun raised(safe) and count to 5 slowly before opening, barrels down with breach away from face/body.  is there any specific general rule regarding how long before you open breech?

                    appreciate the advice everyone. JK

unlucky, we had one through Tony's F3 the other week out of at least 50,000 bought last year.
50k between the two of you ! wow thats average 500 eack a week , hoping you get a good deal on prices💰

I do and I was probably a little conservative as I shoot more than Tony 😂😂

I don't care what gun it is BUT at the cost of that gun.... the wood does not fit the action, I mean it is not even close to fitting!

I might be completely wrong but was told wood work should be proud of action etc to allow for shrinkage over the years , only a little but should be an even amount all around.geuss it also allows to be re finished/sanded years later to rejuvinate..

Krieghoffs look like something designed and made in a Kraut trade school.  Yes, I know that it is a Remington design and that still does not excuse it.  Life is too short to own a gun that ugly.  The wood and engraving at right at the lipstick on a pig level.

JMO of course.  Beauty, eye, etc.  I blame the number of defectives in the population on the last century's wars.  I mean, how can much be expected from a selectively degenerated population.

have a day
And this looks so much better Wonky , totally exquisite .  .................. :goodjob: MXS.jpg

There are many truely horrendous “ of the moment “ renditions on many guns . Some things were just best left unchanged but of course “ Marketing” have to justify their existence  . I long for the day when someone decides that instead of big shiny action  sides , that they will reintroduce colour case hardening .

Ironically colour case hardening is an option available from Krieghoff.
