Hi Everyone,
Whilst on holiday this week i managed to ditch the Family for the day and shoot the nearest Registered to me, only 1.5 hours away.
Lower Lake Shooting ground was my destination, they were holding their first County Selection shoot of the season.
I has made to feel very welcome and put on a squad that were just going out who waited for me to get my kit sorted and we set off. The ground is large and does have a very steep hill to climb although I was told people with 4x4 do drive it.
The targets were all fair and there were some very good loopers and Battues, a cheeky rabbit that caught out one of the guys on my squad followed by a grouse, all hittable but demanded full concentration. I really enjoyed the venue and the targets were good sporting birds.
If i am in Devon/Cornwall again i will be sure to shoot there.
I paid £32 for 100 Birds only
