Hi

Does anyone have contact details for Malcolm

Jenkins please?

He's been recommended to us for doing some stock adjustments

Thanks Clive

You are very welcome Ciive :)

In the past two weeks I've had an Isis2 Recoil Reduction system fitted by Malcolm and his work is top notch! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him :)

Nick

I'm going to speak to Malcolm again when he's back from holidays in a few weeks-so I'll post an update after that

Cheers Clive

Faultless work at an unquestionably good price.

Just as a matter of interest, could someone post a picture of an Isis before fitting as I have heard that they are very bulky and require a lot of wood to be removed from the stock to facilitate fitting????

See their website Pete, shows it all. There is a chunk of wood to be excavated, to accomodate the mechanism. The final gun weight is apparently hardly affected however.

Sorry mate I was pulling out in my van on way to a job, hence the quick reply.

Yes it was camera flash, I used it for a quick 50 the day i got it back, and one word.

Amazing transformation...!

Yeah yeah I know 2 words... ;) ;)

Mine is there now, sawdust flying as we speak! I'm not shooting again until the 11th Nov, unless I squeeze in a quick test later this week if its done.

Cheers

I went and met Dave who makes Isis recoil reducers, and I could of chatted with him for hours, but it was a flying visit due to picking up my new unit I took it straight to Malcolm for fitting.

Anyhow one of the things Dave said was to get a handful of 21 gram shells to start with and just concentrate on the target , rather than the recoil.

Then go shot your normal set up enjoying the way it feels.

And it feels great ;)

Interesting. Malcolm seemed slightly surprised when I said that I can already shoot without any recoil effects, in terms of physical abuse. I just want to take out any risk of flinching, which I am sometimes slightly getting and also to be able to more fully concentrate on the target without, perhaps, being a touch distracted by anticipating the recoil. That may not make sense to anybody except me.. Also, getting a touch more stability for second shots.

Basically, I can't see how it can make things worse, so best get it on there!
