Mosquito Repellant that doesn’t ruin stock finish?

Ripped to bits by Mosquitos tonight at club shoot and so I need bug stuff for next week, obviously not Deet, but anything to recommend or avoid? Thanks

I’ve used Avon skin so soft dry oil in the past on marshes wildfowling. Also heard that natural vanilla extract works. You would have to try both on a hidden part of your stock finish to see if it harms it.

I would second the Avon skin so soft. Well known for beating off the flies and mozzies, excellent stuff and a reasonable price. Not sure about it damaging the stock though.

Yep Skin So Soft has citronella in it , flies hate it , Fly Fishers love it ! Jungle Formula trashes everything it touches , especially expensive sunnies !

Have you tried gloves and a balaclava ??
