Muller U4 usage

I think it goes roughly 

U0 skeet shooters

U1 myself

U2 most shooters

U3 good shooters

U4 shooters who think they are better than they are.

very good that. All makes perfect sense now

I've got a U2 for a Blaser with a split running right the way through it if anyone wants it.

Yes they replace them but should not split like that in the first place. Ive seen that choke. Split from top to bottom. Everyone using these should frequently check them for cracks.

I understand that,I was only telling maddmatt that they do replace because he has a split one maybe he didn't know .

That post about the weirdness of Muller chokes reminded me of a conversation on chokes over at Perazzi - I want 3/8 and 5/8 - blank look - tried uk terminology - then US - then out of 40

Nope Perazzi talk in 0 to 11 and the conversion chart has two different chokes both termed 1/4 and  two terms 1/2 and 3/4 and full - ah well it worked out in the end - 4=3/8 and 6=5/8 hopefully !!

Use them all the time for practice on sporting and skeet, not much room for error so good for focusing the mind and making precise shots. As yet never needed them in a competition ?
