Decided on getting some Hi-def Spex and as I have a very narrow head didnt want to buy online as fit is always a big issue with glasses for me and when spending 300 odd quid I want them to be just right.

Phoned Mulliners on thursday and spoke to a very helpful lady who gave me some good advice on frame styles and lense options. She also assured me they had pretty much every frame and lense option available to try so I decided to have a trip down there before shooting at Owls Lodge.

Arrived at 9.30 as they opened and was welcomed into the shop, Mrs Fuz making a beeline for the impressive rack of K guns and Blasers and I set about finding a frame that fits. We started off with a panther frame for a benchmark and they stuck out the side of my head miles and felt more like a visor than glasses, so I was advised to try the hornet as its slightly narrower. Still no joy, too wide :(

The chap had a little think and came out of the storeroom with a 5 lense set of sebrings in a junior fitment that fit my boyish head a treat :D Got 99, 65, 40, 25 and 15 lenses so should cover all bases.

Priced up at £370 but as they are an older model he did them at £320

Had a little grap of a couple of K guns, one of them the new DT model with a cracking looking grey stained stock.

Nice people and well worth the trip down there
