The National InterCounties is at Westfield SG (Cotswolds, GL54 3BX) on Sat/Sun 6th and 7th October.
Hopefully you’ll find this a good central location and as many shot it during the World Championships you know where to go and the quality of targets you will find....! 14 Stands of varied and interesting targets.
Teams are being submitted for entry but you can shoot it whether you are part of a team or not!! Don't be put off by the title.
1. Team names need to be submitted to Allison at The Clay Shooting Company [email protected] prior to the event so they can get cards pre-written etc.
2. To make the booking in procedure more streamlined the entrants CPSA numbers are required so they can be pre-entered into the system ready for scores.
3. Entry fee is £38 Competition, £33 Birds Only. £5 from every competition entry going into the prize fund.
4. High Gun is sponsored by The Clay Shooting Company - £200.
5. A levy of £3 is included in the cost and will be paid to the CPSA for the event.
6. Payment to be made on the day when competitors book in and collect their cards.
THE EVENT IS NOT SQUADDED. Entry times both days are 9.30 – 2pm. Pool shoots will be available.
Each team consists of:
6 Seniors, 5 scores to count
3 Ladies, 2 Scores to count
3 Juniors, 2 Scores to count
3 Veterans, 2 Scores to count
You don’t have to enter a full set of each, for example you may just enter a team of Seniors and Veterans or just the Categories and no Seniors – it’s up to each individual County and what is achievable to you.
As long at the team is submitted in advance, the team do not have to shoot together. You can all shoot on different days and different times – we will total the team scores up on the computer.
Each county may submit a B team for each of the above Categories as well. Should the B team beat the nominated A team of that county then the B team will take the honours. However, the A and B team may not be intermingled (i.e. add the top 5 Senior scores from a total of 12 scores!).
This shoot has the potential to be a great weekend, it would be fantastic to see a good selection of Counties – sadly the weather can’t be guaranteed but requests have been made for sunshine.....!!
