A new ground for me just outside of Leicester.

Parkland setting. Meeting Mr and Mrs Maney, you know winner and loser of The Shootclay Plate.

Long drive up to the club house.

Lovely welcome.

Good value Sarnies and Teas.

Booked on, was very quite.

Stand 1 was 4 Sim pair of right to left crossers relatively slow but with the wind were fairly deceptive.

Stand 2 going away briefly seen from the UT trap folowed by a big looper. Deceptive. Easy to miss the G/A so close dropping fast.

And so it went on.

Some great targets well set seeing low scores coming in from the top down.

Stand 3, rapid snap shot on a right to left, followed on report with a half speed left to right.

Everything needed thought or soon too many were dropped.

Stand 4 saw a R/L tealy looper followed O/R by a high wind effected tower bird. Lovely stand

Stand 5 White L/R Rabbit O/R a R/L looper nice stand for the card.

Stand 6 Sim pair of teals one on the way up one on the way down unless you were fast.

Stand 7 a walk accross the park. Teal O/R L/R looper should have had all 8 really

Stand 8 Sim pair of incomers from along way I tried to take them at the peak of the flight but Ian shot them well closer in.

And onward they don't normally have 100 on so the Parkland targets were one offs.

Some good targets

I didnt shoot well.

We went round twice for a 55/58 on my card.

I left maybe 7 out there but found it tough.

I think top score on leaving was only 89.

Will go back as the Team were very welcoming.
