You will need a good mozzie net, or you will get covered in bites. Or you might die of blood loss. Good Luck.  🤣

There is a map that one of our members created to show shooting grounds and shops etc.

it is not exhaustive but things are looking a bit sparse up there, you could do some pioneering and report back. Have you thought about the security of your gun and legal issues? you probably shouldn't let the gun out of your sight which could really cramp your style.

First off if camping take plenty provisions as once north of Inverness its barren. I can reccomend this campsite it is brilliant.

Thanks, ill check the link out momentarily...

In terms of gun security - I figured if I chose to take it, id keep the action on me in my rucksack(its a big bag, that I also keep my steering wheel in  ), and store the barrel and forarm separately in the vehicle. Which has multiple security on it.

But I have been told by the wife boss - no! as we are taking our pooch and it would be fair to him ..

Ill still keep my eyes open for ranges, and I may even rent a gun while im up there... Ill just take my licence. :hyper:
