Yes Charlie but that's that silly dumbed down dtl malarkey and with respect hardly comparable to Olympic stuff. From my experience of slow trap a fast handling pedigree gun such as DT10 or a P thing is a hindrance you want something that handles like a fence post with some scaffolding above it.

Grounds like Bywell, Mid Wales and others will always let you try a gun before you buy. At the very least you can take it out and simulate shooting targets.

I put almost 300 shells through my new gun before I committed to buying it. You'd not spend thousands on a new car without test driving it, guns are no different.
But not BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX Jan I bet yours was a ex demo gun

Looks like you can't buy a Miroku in USA then !

Gavin, love the picture of your intended gun and have to agree Mr. Kipling makes exceedingly good cakes !
They were (are?) marketed here as Brownings.  I have no idea what all that line includes these days but they do market a number of different models and maybe still the M-things like in euro market.  I pay very little attention to the new gun market since I have what I need and the likelihood of something actually improved beyond what I have is minuscule at best.

Wonko your 100% correct shot guns haven't changed much in a very long time, unfortunately for the manufacturers shotguns last lifetimes so they have to keep reinventing the wheel
