I've got a copy of this clip sitting on my PC, it was called Hangfire previously, can't remember where it came from. Showed it to a few friends and they cringed.  Not a very good impression to give non shooters!

Sorry to disappoint, but this was a spoof. There is a bit on the internet about it.

Listen to the first two shots and the impact on the target - almost simultaneous. Now watch the hat get blown off, before the sound of the shot. The camera was so close there should have been no difference between the sound and the action.

Also the guy was shooting a pump action. he ejected only two shells. If he had loaded a third and got a misfire, the fact that he then racked it again would have ejected the dud cartridge. There was no third cartridge.

Finally, wouldn't the first thing the cameraman would do would be to rush to his mate's aid?

Oh - and to really upset you all - there is no Santa.
