Interesting article about three peeps who attended a 'shootin show' in America and walked off with prototype submachine gun. Apparently the gun was not tethered and they simply put it in a bag and walked off with it!! Looking at the video it seems the gun was in an unsupervised open rack next to a walkway. they're a trusting lot this yanks!!

You cant make this stuff up.

Fools and thieves abound.  Some time ago I had a table at the Vegas collectors show and had a buncha pre-WWII shooting books and magazines - mostly Limey.  The criminal element as is normally identified was not visible.  The majority of attendees grey-haired, tweed, etc.  During the course of the three day affair I was relieved of several items sans payment, and I thot I was fairly attentive.  Fortunately the books lost were not particularly pricey but I was particularly pissed off considering the venue etc.
