Nice little video (found on Trapshooters.com) of how to disassemble an MX action

Unfortunately it does not show you how to put it back together!

A little knowledge................???
Oh I hear that. Not intending to start taking mine apart anytime soon. Just thought it might be of interest to some.

Firing pins maybe. Top lever ...errr...NO!

Actually it's not that difficult to get the top lever out or the H bolt. If you do yours first you've got Harry's as a reference point for reassembly. Little springs springing are my worst nightmare.

I find that video really disturbing.  The Perazzi maintenance is very straightforward but it does require care as PhilR notes, and the video will I'm sure provide confidence for a multitude of meatheads to venture forth still not knowing WTF it does require.

The good news for me is that I'm not buying any more guns so the problem will be one for someone else hahaha

Good vid, nice gun too, don't see many of those knocking about........

That's very interesting is that. It will take some time before my trigger group comes out that easy, its still tight as hell.

Mine still is but being that is a 30k gun I'd bloody want it gliding out !!!

It does indeed look like a lovely gun! But I could not handle £30k for a gun, I'd be scared to pick it up! ?

Those do not wear in.  Loosen the stock bolt and see if it is easier.  If it is then the stock is not properly fitted.  If it is still tight then the trigger is not properly fitted.

He's quite right they don't wear in, tight and 'snug' are not the same thing.

Same as the trigger group in my gun wrestling match to remove it.

"I find that video really disturbing"

Why Charlie? I actually found it very informative. Also the manner in which he did the job lead me to believe he was competent. I am no gunsmith or engineer but what he did, did not look to be beyond the average person who had some mechanical nouse. Having said that I am confident enough to work on the braking system of my car and fettle the valve gear on my bike so enough said.

my first mx8 had a trigger that seemed to just fall out as soon as the safety was touched! Mind you that gun had seen some serious use!

Just a reminder for you, John.  Easy to check the why.  I usually take the stock off cuz it can squeeze the sides of the bottom tang just as easily as the bolt can distort the tang lengthwise.  At any rate, yanking the stock is always Step #1 for me.  And as for your confidence in doing things I have no doubt that you are capable.  BUT how many shooters do you know that you would trust to do the same things to YOUR gun?

A Perazzi trigger has to fit at a number of places and if you take a long look at it, a rather complicated fit.  And obviously there are lots of them that don't meet the requirements.  From what I've seen, tight triggers in new guns are usually stock related.  Not a universal truth of course.  Interchangeability is always problematic and triggers that seem to fit may still not be latching properly.  And that is something that is far easier to ascertain if the latching mechanism is disassembled.  A PITA certainly, but a step I've had to take a couple times anyway.
