I am in absolute shock and feeling very empty.  Pete has gone, such an excellent shooter and a wonderful person.  I have no details.  It is such a loss to our community.  He always had an ebcouraging word for me and the last time I saw him a few weeks back he was so encouraging after I'd had a bad shoot.  I shall miss seeing you Pete, you were a true gentleman ?

A great friend and an exceptional shot. A huge loss to the shooting community.

Terrible terrible news - I met Pete a couple of times, and shot with him once at Barbury.

A true gent, and one of the good guys. Life is bloody unfair. RIP @Parcours pete

Pete Dennett  a Somerset man worked his butt off to make the England team! A great family man,  a real genuine character!               I loved to have ribald comments with Pete about shooting and he gave as good as he received, Pete will be missed amonmg the shooters!

Hes words after a 5 hour journey "Eh ....Mozzy, i hope this is your usual round of sh*t after coming up from Zummerzet !!".

Had a message of congrats out of the blue one morning after we won the premier league...... That was Pete !!!
