I have just spoken with Pat from Pilla as I wanted to order some more stock - they have completely SOLD OUT of 46N lenses for the Outlaw and will not be distributing any more for a few months.

They do have Panther product, and the new lenses do fit the original frames fortunately.

I believe Essex Gun, MidWales and Premier Guns (amongst others) have a decent supply so all is not lost!

I think this is, in part, due to the launch of their new product which they wish to promote, see below...

Second thought, how do they compare to the Randolf colour-mag for mucho $$$$ less?

First thought, a dollar short of a thousand? WOW
Mine too....I was a bit unsure about the Outlaw in its recent incarnation as it is so expensive, but I tried it and it is awesome. They have finally made a comfortable, adjustable nose piece and it fits a treat.

What the Fugitive frame brings to top that, i do not yet know.

However, if its a bit under budget,  :money:   you could always try this beauty

I did see that, glasses costing more than the rest of my kit put together including gun and shells for the year  :fie:   Would want them to calculate the leed with a head up display for that  :hunter:

I'd say they are a totally different product - there isn't a lens in the Pilla catalogue that does what the CMT does, but also there are effects that the Pilla lenses produce that aren't replicated by Randolph.

The CMT is a marmite lens - I love it as i am a bit light sensitive and find it brilliant for enhancing Blaze targets in fierce sunlight. I was at Fauxdegla with Bigroo when there was still a lot of snow about and it was perfect for me.

Others have different experiences with it, but that is the same with all lenses.

A recent "experiment" with the 46N, with two England shooters showed this perfectly. One felt "it highlighted the clay beautifully against the sky, but i lost it in the trees and against the grass." The other thought "amazing against the green background, lost it totally in the sky."

Same lens, same layout...

My first thought is that any one who buys these will be known as a 'Pillock'

I'd want Laser eye surgery, a Field trial winning Labrador a white cane and a pretty young blonde to see me across the road for that price !

I'd rather spend the money on fuel for my Maserati.

Hah - I did not.... my scroll uppy skills are obviously not as good as they should be this morning!

I did the same the other day on smashing clays. I posted a picture, several pages into the thread, ....which was the original picture.

Nice one though.....(see below)

Not taking offline....but it looks like glasses material
