Had a 2017 one and it was a lovely shotgun, only problem was it was very barrel heavy, requiring quite a few of the stock weights fitted to get the balance between the hands to suit me, 30'' barrels. Trigger pulls were excellent.

I have used 1 for over 2 years now and was also unaware that there was a 'new' model available. My gun balanced on the hinge pin straight out of the box, with no weights added to either end. My only gripe is the recoil pads supplied, even the thinnest one was too thick for my required LOP. I ended up with an XS  Pro pad of 15mm to achieve the correct length  although it is not the best fitment. My gun is far from barrel heavy and I fitted the barrel weights, which seemed to work for ME. Problem is , one of these weights has broken and several attempts at a repair have been unsuccessful.  However, all is not lost, ben80 apparently has a 'shed full' somewhere, which people have discarded. I did ask if when he is next in his shed, he could find a set of Browning barrel weights, I would buy them off him. I don't think he goes into his shed very often though  ?

But yes  very happy with the gun to date.

I had an early version, it was ok but the grip was not right for me so I took a file to it. I actually bought a new version last month with an adjustable comb but the stock had not been stained where the comb had been cut, it was still white 😱

It looked as is whatever they had used to applied the stain had been applied with a yard brush to be honest.

The gun, with 30" barrels weighed 8lb 13oz which is too much but recoil was quite low. I actually took the gun back and got a full refund due to other issues.

I honestly think that Browning need to start selling finished Pro Sports instead of what they are selling now.

My fairly new 725 blacking came off the action, I was unhappy with it, sent it back to Browning who re-blacked it under warranty with what looked like fence paint and so I traded it in for a Miroku MK38 G5.
