Looking for a hip flask that doesn’t taint the flavour of the contents...
I have one that holds a bottle and a half :wacko:You need a large one that holds about a pint ?

How the other half live........Butler was on his day orf..the batman had to suffice.
Found some great vintage examples, very pricey though and with my ability to loose or break stuff I think a good modern example may have to do,Glass or crystal with silver cap and silver gilded drinking cup are the best/ most expensive and some great vintage examples
silver gilded next some with part leather covering again nice vintage pieces
Then it’s stainless steel and then pewter
william and Son have one at near £1500 !! - lots of vintage silver from £300 -to 450 - stainless and pewter from the main game kit dealers from £30 to 120 with the large cartridge shape and classic shape at say Cording, William Evans, Farlows etc
i have a basic stainless but am tempted by a vintage flask from the glory era of British game shooting - some lovely stuff available
I haven't noticed my contents being tainted in my ss flask and sometimes said contents are in there a week or so.Do the stainless steel ones taint the contents? I have a hip flask but I've never really made use of it. Never been cold enough on a shoot. I put whisky in it and the husband didn't complain about me bringing the contents back.
I cannot believe it has anything left in it after 30 minutes of filling it :angel:I haven't noticed my contents being tainted in my ss flask and sometimes said contents are in there a week or so.
Brill, thanks!Aspinals of London make really nice leather ones and reasonable prices too.
