I understand that release triggers are not allowed in France?

Is there any dispensation for Brits or Yanks shooting International competition in France?

No idea Pete, I didn't even know they were not allowed there!!!

I believe they are for domestic competitions, not for European and World events. Email the FFBT, i'm sure they'll clarify the situation.

Agree with above

I thought they were banned in all countrys for issf events but not for domestic disciplines. This issf lot seem like control freaks to me.

I reckon all these governing bodies run internal competitions to see who can come up with the most stupid rule!

The CPSA ban has been rescinded, apparently no one at the CPSA knew how they worked so they had to consult an expert. I didn't charge them.

The FFBT are something of a law unto themselves! Banning them was a crazy idea suggested in the ridiculous name of 'safety'. Thank goodness common sense prevailed.
