Safety Officer Course

Happy Christmas folks, Does anyone know if you can do the safety officers course online/correspondence or is it a mixture of theory and practical therefor on location only? Google findings so far would suggest it is the latter..

Course for the first time, renewal is on line, apparently Jan 2020 as I understand it

Yep you have to do the course physically as it involves some looking at ground and set ups etc. It's good. Nowt to worry about. But when you apply what you learn , you'll wonder how some grounds are getting away with murder. An eye opener.  Did mine at doveridge. Apparently the insurer has asked for a 5 year refresher. They tried this some years ago but dropped it. The refresher is online.
