Could you help with some advice ?

My citori seems to have developed an occasional misfire on the second barrel. At first i thought it was a cartridge issue as the primer was marked but didn't go off. I've had it happen on 3 brands now so it must be the gun !

Does it sound like a major job or is it a relatively quick and easy thing to get sorted ?

thanks very much for your help

Firing pin is likely worn or the seat it sits in is full of muck; or both. An easy job. 10 mins if you know how. Get a new firing pin and watch you tube. Or a gun shop will do it fast.

My Browning 525 started doing this alot earlier in the year, but on the bottom barrel only, so I replaced both firing pins with new slightly longer ones ordered from however be aware that you have to pay import tax and a post office handling fee on the price. Not had a misfire since.

Quite easy to change yourself, just have to remove the stock and basically push out the dowel pins which hold the firing pins in place.

I'll have a look on youtube and see how simple it looks, dont want to mess the gun up !

thanks
