I also use Mac Wets, go through 2-3 pairs a year. Mesh when it´s warm and climatic when it´s colder.

if its that cold you need to wear gloves then its too chuffing cold too shoot clays....

I use this company's stuff - http://www.subzero.co.uk/

Have nothing but praise for it - from the base layer up to the factor 2 gear. I use the factor 2 gloves - and while they are not water proof they are very warm. I hate shooting in gloves so take them off to actually shoot.

They often have "sales" so keep an eye out for those events to secure better prices.

Just trying to get in touch with my feminine side :)

making the ladies UT team is the only hope I have of shooting for GB  :p

Declare that you feel like a woman on he inside, take some hormones and you can. If you scores.are good enough of course.

I remember in the 80s it was "quite" rare for lady's to compete with men however these last two decades they have proven to be more than capable of kicking our *****.

I don't know the reason for this but they are a force to be reckoned with and may as well compete on equal terms.

did I ever tell you I once met my female idol Susan nattras ..what a wonderful woman ?

Susan conducted a two-day bunker clinic at Redlands not long ago.  I was all signed up and then my back wound itself up too tight and I had to pass.  I was devastated.  Next time no matter what!

what a shame Charlie. I only met her fleetingly but she was a genuinly lovely lady. Mrs ips got her to sign my shoot program it is now framed in my gunroom ?

Macwets for me.  You even get to choose the right size to fit your hand and the length (style) of glove to fit under your jacket sleeve.

Trigger feel is great too.

just bought a pair of army green thin knitted gloves that have soft rubbery dots on the palm side should give some good grip and probably fairly warm but not waterproof. found them in decathlon fishing section
