40up, short legs, paul120 and myself joined a friend of mine and his team of four guns on a mini driven / walked up day in Cumbria.

not a big bag day but I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope the team did as well.

40up and I were out of it really but Paul and Gareth had a few good birds between them.

I will let the others elaborate on the day but here are some pics of the "shoot clay game team"

It’s hard to beat a good walked up day with friends
Indeed it is.

I only had one bird, as a walking gun. A left to right **** pheasant through the trees with my SxS, was chuffed with that ?

Fantastic stuff - great to see this meet up.  Well done guys, looks like a fun day.

Just one question - is Shortlegs wearing shorts?

30% off at Go Outdoors.

Lucked onto a hot peg myself on one drive which I managed to make the most of.

Thanks to IPS for inviting me on a couple of days this year Both days were very enjoyable inreally great company.  Much appreciated.

Admin you've woken up and come out of hibernation !!    to answer your question they were a left over pair of trousers from my days as a test pilot for airfix

A bit of detour to go out doors on the way up to the shoot not for shorts but wellies for someone

nice day in good company

Fine looking Sarasqueta !
thanks Garwood, yes and I love it.

cheers pal, yes we only had "some" shooting but we had a "lot" of laughs.

Five old blokes on a Two mile road trip to the pub in a Polaris. In the rain, all full of mud and wet through, what a hoot. Oh and the rear door on short legs side was missing ? then we got lost on way back to the shoot and had some extreme off roading to find the rest of the shooters, great laugh ?

It was your driving that got us lost   and Paul had the door missing not me and you forgot to mention where you kept looking for the biggest puddles to drive through so the water splashed in Paul was bobbing about like a motor bike sidecar racer to avoid getting soaked   you even had poor 40up leaning over when you were cornering hard to keep everything balanced and operating the wipers for you

oh yes and all of that.

the door or lack of didn't matter as Paul had his new go outdoors wellies on ?

and it wasn't my driving that got us lost it was poor navigating from you lot ?
