Evening all

just a quick question when I started shooting a few years ago I never needed to wear glasses but since then I’ve had to start wearing glasses but only for long sight (but I wear them all the time now) are my everyday glasses ok to shoot with as I’m now looking at coming back to shooting some clays

thanks

That's what I use although prescription shooting glasses are available (for a price.)

A lot of shoots insist that you wear safety glasses and it would make sense to use shooting glasses from a safety viewpoint, especially if you don't need prescription glasses, but I'm sure no-one would complain if you used your everyday specs.

If you look further down in "New Shooters" I started a topic on vari focal glasses that may help you.

To cut a long story short, distance vision prescription with a grey polarising shatter proof lens work for me. (Budget frame) Less than the cost of a slab.
