Shot size and weight

What's the rules regarding shot size and weight for esp? My google skills are lacking.

Most have a box of 6.5s for the “wow” target would imagine 90% plus use 8s or  above regulary

Using a lot of 8's at the mo and some official sporting 8.5... got them in a job lot. They break clays very well at some distance. Have some 6's in the bag also at the mo. But when the job lot is exhausted , or some more come along, then its back to fblu,english 7's at everything.
