Hi All,

As a newbie I am possesing 2 quite expensive guns but I don`t have separate insurance on any of them,

how do you insure your guns ?

Is it household insurance ?

or maybe CPSA has got separate insurance for that ?

I would be greatfull for any advise,

I use household contents insurance but shop around to get the best deal.

I considered adding it to my house insurance but eventually went with separate gun insurance. My guns are insured with New Moon Insurance, they offer a special rate for CPSA and BASC members.

Well worth looking at, my premium is £130 for £7.5K of cover including accidental damage and if required gun hire.

Mine Are listed separately on my household insurance as are my tickers as I have a small collection of those too.

Sent from my mobile that's my excuse for typos and errors.

Same as Jem

have them listed as seperate items on house insurance with NFU - great company (other insurers are available)

I just make sure I don't lose them or drop them :)

I have mine on NFU house contents policy...and list as separate items the more pricier ones (you get charged a little extra for those).

NFU and great, reliable and used to dealing with gun insurance on house insurance....true story..

Some Gun Specific Insurance policies offer "New for Old" replacement where other household types will replace at "Market Value".

There might be a bit of a gap in what you paid for you DT11 to what they would pay out in the event of damage or theft.

May be worth looking at?

Whoops sounds good thx for that ! Got perrazzi in the household now 2 that's why decided to ask and look for insurance . I will definitely ask about "new for old" option as well . Cheers :)
