Well done you 👏 onwards and upwards but you will have days where you just don’t feel right and it goes wrong believe me! I remember the first time I shot in the 70’s, I was so chuffed. Seemed to stay there for ages then before Christmas shot an 80 at sport trap and Owls, was even more chuffed!!!  Since the Xmas shoot at Owls I’ve only had one round of skeet due to family bereavement and illness’s in family but am shooting Tuesday so hope it’s not too bad!
I'm not going to comment on his grin when he added his score up.

Weather looks to be good for the week.  Have fun tomorrow.

Working local to it so Owls Lodge for Sportrap, shot L1 & L4, well shot might be pushing it as Id be better off throwing carts from cage as just about everything I did was muck really, just not with it, L2 & L3 one did fare better, not concious of any change in approach so I will just put today down as being one to forget shooting wise, didnt see any scores so cant share. Am sure wheels will be back on soon

I’ll finally be back on the Reg scene this weekend after getting the MK38 sorted.

Planning AGL Saturday and Horne Sunday, if people are around do shout.

Yes you’re quite right, damn. Need an alternative plan in that case.
EJ Churchill Premier League shoot is on Saturday if that's any good to you.

ETA Southdown is on on Sunday as an alternative / addition to Horne.

Good mix of targets at AGL today, but sooooo many crashes on the motorways. Can’t stand making that journey again.......

Yup.  I've only just got home.  Admittedly, I had to go up to Sporting Targets when I'd finished to pick up barrels that had been having some work on them.

Churchills yesterday. Lots of moaning on Facebook about how busy it was but I headed up there early and got around in1hr50mins. Not like it should be a surprise that it was going to be well attended Started on Stand 3 to skip the masses on 1 & 2 and managed to get around in 1hr50mins. Was still very foggy which made some of the targets fairly deceptive on a blank white background. Only stand it really impaired visibility was the incoming 70mm on stand 7. Somehow I managed to get all of them. Sloppy mid section cost me and finished on 79.

Horne this morning and quietest I have seen it. Had to queue on 3-4 stands 2-3 people at most so was done in under 45 mins. Usual sort of course - lots of slow incomers. Managed to shoot most ok but a few poor stands at the end meant a decent score on the cards ended up being an 82.

Lovely sunshine today. When I left the house car started at 5c dropped to 3 and was at 11 by the time I got to Horne.

That is always the lottery going to AGL on a week day - especially as I normally have to get back to work by lunchtime. Starting first cards and heading back to M4 by 11 it's usually ok. Couldn't make it this month.

Nothing for me today (or for a while actually) as I just returned from an exhausting long haul trip. I know from bitter experience that shooting with jet lag is akin to being blindfolded for me. I don’t think I’ve ever shot so little as in recent weeks. FITASC at EJC next Wednesday will be a strong wake up call.

Gatton Bottom today and (as Will already knows) first outing with the new gun.

Frustrating day, scoring just 60. Feel I’m shooting high, but could be one of a handful of things. Luckily I have a lesson booked in with RF next week so hoping he can take a look.

Weather wise absolutely fantastic and long may that continue.

Knackered.  AGL Friday and I just couldn’t get myself going a feeble 74.  Lovely weather and good company though.  EJC Saturday shot the Sportrap in the morning, started very badly on layout one just don’t like the great big fence and bushy bit at the top struggled to see the A bird, improved as I went along and finished on 79.  Waited for Tony to get there for last card ESP, weather good again and just over 3 hrs to shoot and apart from Tony’s back going 3 stands from the end an enjoyable round.  Finished on 84.  Got up at 3 am today to get Tony to Heathrow as he is off to be fitted for a new gun at Perazzi, couldn’t not get back to sleep so went off to Southdown shot the pool badly, did the sporting okay but lost the plot on the last stand finished on an 81.  Shot the pool shoot twice again, the second attempt was okay but my third got worse and then shot the Sportrap last card and started with a wobble but rallied (with a bit of Tourette’s along the way) and finished on 86.  Over 2 hrs to drive home though bloody M25.  I think Tony Axell the ref giving me a boiled sweet helped my Sportrap.

Still taking it easy then Sian. 😆

All credit to those who shoot multiple comps in successive days or on the same day. 3 comps in 3 days and I am like a crisp. Eyes like sand and a swing like an automaton and those were the good bits.

Two very enjoyable shoots this weekend.

Saturday was the Premier League at EJC; my only complaint was the 4.5 hours it took to shoot 😭. I was getting a bit hangry (hungry angry) so stopped for a drink and pork pie after 7 stands. It obviously worked as I only dropped 2 birds over the remaining 7 stands. I ended on 82 which I think was joint 5th in class.

Sunday saw a 120 bird at Westfield with Colin and @Turkey. Scrappy start for me but managed to focus for the second half and ended on 95/120. Again joint 5th in class. Turkey had a great day, 111/120!

I also shot at ejc on Saturday (my second registered) I won’t go into scores 😂🤣 very enjoyable day if not a little long and drawn out, that long left to right crosser on stand ten 😱 managed to hit the last pair on that stand after puting a Range Rover sized gap on the crosser. Overall a good day out

I think that was one of my best stands - only missed the last crosser.  Dropped six on the last two stands, just from trying too hard and being too careful - makes me slow up and hang on.

I’m very new to it all but by best stands where 1, 3 and 13 the rest....well shocking at best

😂🤣 cheers mate, I think I’ve grasped that part it’s more the how much space part I’m having issues with, oh and anything from right to left....but I’m sure with plenty of  practice I’ll progress 👍🏻
