was this a two dayer ? or big entry ? if not !!!  payout looks very good , and I really like the way the monies are split down the ranks ... have never thought missing one clay from the gun in-front of you should cost you £60  :fie:

Good results list with the disclosure of the prize fund payout!

This is the way to go.

Don't beat them up over the IT, they'll get it sorted.

Not everyone is an anorak!

Sporting targets always pay out well

And they are consistently one of the best with the IT - live scoreboard for the big events, results generally online quickly.

Hi All,

Payout is about normal for Sporting Targets usually about 90 - 100 entries and are always detailed in the results sheet on their webs site with a cheque sent to winners by post early in the week after the shoot.

All shoots (big/registered or not) have the live leader board, or at least will do when I can get the live leader board working again.

In the meantime all scores (without payouts)  are on the Sporting Targets website at http://www.sportingtargets.co.uk/shooting-club/latest-results/

Cheers

JT

We went along, I think there was about 120 odd entries. The payout is always good at Sporting Targets. Value for monies, free tea and coffee, everywhere is wheelchair accessable and stone paths so no chance of getting sh*t up.

how much was the comp entry ? great to see grounds giving back over the norm   for me, whether rightly or wrongly, I tend to look at the % paid back from the gross, which in-turn should resemble the difference from T/O and Comp ? but saying that £5 back from £36 - £40 averages out at around 13% ? it would seem sporting targets have paid back well above that ....job's a good un

I would have to say that Sporting Targets is exemplary in everything they do. Gunshop has good stock at reasonable prices . Catering is superb, (always remember Ian telling me off for asking for a Mug of coffee and trying to pay) " You can have a mug , yes , but you will drink it outside, and you won't pay for it ."

Targets are a fair mix to suit all abilities, and as Ben says good accessability.

+1

I really enjoyed shooting the Jack Pyke there last year (thanks for Nick T for the lift) was just after my hip op and managed to get around well enough, nicely laid out grounds with clear access, good food and great welcome.

Only been there once, for a lesson with Ed, I was very impressed. And even being out of the way a bit, I will definitely make my way back.

Hi All,

The results service is now back to normal on the Sporting Targets website so the full results from 19th January (including all prize money and individual scores per stand) are available at http://www.sportingtargets.co.uk/shooting-club/latest-results/

Sorry for the delay - the web developers were out surfing :)

The live leader board should be running on the web site for this weekend's registered but the clubhouse is, unfortunately, going to have to make do with the CPSA version :-( until I get the STL one updated.

Cheers

JT
