Just a thought, I was packing my kit bag for Sunday, while getting my golf waterproofs out of my golf bag, I thought to myself, "that wee towel I clip onto my golf bag for drying my hands/grips/clubs/ball (golf balls) could come in handy at times if it was clipped onto the back of my vest!?!?" I have seen Ben H with a towel hanging from his vest, so I think I'll give it a try, if it's getting in the way I can just unclip it and stick it in the kit bag. (rain all day forcast for the shoot)

Anyone else try/do this?

That is exactly what a lot of shooters use Darky.

I got a free Dutch one at the Dutch Grand Prix got it on my skeet vest and if it is waving in the wind i just tuck it in me back pocket! Def needed on hot days when the hands are sticky!

Yeah they always used to be in the goody bag at most 'big' shoots.

Even had Helice ones done for our fundraising over the years.

If any of the big sponsors are on here :) bring them back please

Does anyone ave a link to some waterproof trousers and tese towels tat they recommend?

If I was you check golf shops for the trousers you can get some good cheap ones searching the net. bingle 'Shooting Towels' and you will find lots.

Glen.

Its got fancy over the years, we just used a beer towel, available to be stolen from any pub at one time.

Beretta one. http://www.avalon-guns.com/avalon/info_61362.html

I use something similar, just for hands etc and have a proper towel in the car, for actual rain situations.

What's a pub??? I haven't had the money to go into one of those scince I took up clay pigeon shooting!!!
That's ok, by the time you have the money, there won't be any pubs left, so you aren't missing out!

Of course, you could buy a small towel in Tesco, while you are in there buying a zillion cans of Stella for 3 quid....
