Well for me it's been a huge problem,, 20 years ago used to shoot a lot but alas without hearing protection I was young and earmuffs were not the fashion sadly.

I got to the stage where I could not pull the trigger at all after consulting doctors and specialist were told it's basically my brain taking over and saying I will not tolerate that pain any more so I quite the sport .

20 years later and bored decided I should try again but committed the cardinal sin went and bought 1000 sovereign fitasc cartridges as they are fastest on market got some earplugs and of I went to first clay shoot but by the 5 th stand the yips had re appeared finished the round very worried it's back again but thought about it got fitted earplugs changed to gamebpre velocity was a bit better then someone said try clever t1 as is soft shell strangely never got trigger freeze since so for me think it's recoil related
