Can anybody please recommend me a quality stock maker/refinisher?
I have an exhibition grade O/U stock that was fitted to me a while back, but not refinished. It now needs the following: a slight adjustment to the nose, complete re-chequering and then stripping and refinishing.
It is much too good a piece of wood for me to contemplate doing it myself and I know that good chequering is an art.
I'm based near Cirencester, Glos - so somewhere not TOO far away would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
