White Gold Challenge Winners today.... Chris Childerhouse in Gold and Mark Jones in Silver.  Tough competition, an exciting day!

Thanks to everyone that braved the weather, it's always a tough call when the forecast is so dire but as hoped, the forecasters aren't always right and by lunch time things improved greatly.

Got a headache now though, I blame Mark Fletcher and that sloe gin.....

Ally  :king: I'm such a serious lightweight!

Well done to everybody involved in putting this on today considering the conditions. :goodjob:

Well shot to all class winners, and to Chris C and Mark for getting into the White Gold Challenge finals.

Also good to see some of the Juniors making it into todays shoot offs in the WGC at this early stage of the competition. :good:

Awfull weather today but a credit to Steve and the team for putting on a good show. Think I've found out I can't shoot more than 20 targets before the wheels fall off! When is the next 20 bird registered!

My lad Ben, (a Junior), got into the WGC shoot off with a 15 in the qualifier.  I was delighted to see him then shoot a 16 in the shoot off which sadly didn't get him through, but wasn't a million miles off some others in the same detail!

A great day and special thanks should go to the scorers who had to endure some 'interesting' conditions, and with good humour.

Ben was one of the early ones around the Westfield 120 shoot in the morning as we were there before 9:30.  He was a bit disappointed to only get a 94.  But he was pleased to improve his qualifying score in the White Gold Challenge in the shoot off.

All the training he's getting in Phil Coley's Academy seems to be paying off!  No way would he have shot better in the shoot off vs the qualifier without the mental/mind training that he's been getting from Phil.
