hope to see you all soon steve

Had an enjoyable shoot round today and would agree with the why did I miss that comment! .

Didn't get time for the Sportrap pool shoot, must try harder next time as it looked good.

Cracking shoot today, Staff as good as usual and a real pleasure to miss so many targets! Nice to shoot such a variety of distance on targets and not just the one or two "long" stands that you can find on some shoots. Keep the targets like that Steve and I promise to work harder to hit 'em

Another good shoot Steve,

Made a twit on stand round far side by pen.close incommer, midi looper.didn't hit the incommer:(

Had to wait and watch something like 20 ppl shoot that stand, most struggled.

Another challenging and fun layout Steve.

The stand 6 with the close incomer was just rifle straight at it then the looping midi after this slow one looked to be screaming away at 60 yards but in reality didn't need the lead it was receiving , nearly everyone I saw was in front of it

Stand 7 the simo pair l-r I would have shot the closer battue first then the std was in a good place to give it a bit and kill it successfully !!!

Here's a little tip but don't tell everyone when I set up the wood genrally all the colour traps that are below the tree line have there springs wound back and anything above tree line will need shooting normally , I had this chat with my old mate Clinto on Sunday , if you just quickly look at a pink clay say the first bird on stand 12 Sunday you think bloody hell that's going fast through a small gap but then look again and take the trees out of the equation and then you notice it's only just floating through the air in quite a big gap to shoot it , read the clay and read the background

Hope this helps

Steve

I think I hit one of those incomers and missed the rest because I was hanging on too long but got 3 out of the 4 looping midis and the looping midi was my favourite one that day.

I am struggling with ones that seem to be going slower as I seem to hang on too long, I do better with faster ones because I have to chase it and have less time to think about anything.
