This might be the best weather of the b/h weekend, so glad Weston was on.

Target wise, there was the usual consistently firm theme, but nothing daft. I enjoyed it. Steve showed he is human as stand 1 trap died before I could start on it. A whole new trap brought in I think! I shot it later.

I had a bereavement recently and had not shot since, so I started (on stand 2) worried that my head would be elsewhere; which made it be! 5 targets away from 10, on a stand that I really should have expected to straight, or drop 1. It was basic over-leading, which is my classic tension symptom.

I buckled down and had a good rest of round, only dropping another 10, for 85. Kicking myself for the shabby start, as I feel 88 or 89 might just take A class..

Very enjoyable round.

Anybody know more about scores?

As you say Will consistantly firm targets set again by Steve, totally enjoyable day as ever.

Congrats to teepee and well done for the joint class class win, :) Fuz and myself could only manage joint 4th :( .

OOOO....did I tie for first in C again?? One day I'll be up there on my own! ;) :D

Good to meet you at last Tiptop, and thanks for the sentiment (and sleepyhollow)!

I have to say, I came away disappointed with myself. I only dropped 4 on the first 4 stands, straighted a total of 4 stands.......and let 2 others get the better of me to spoil the card! Can't remember which stands they were, although I think one was the simo pair of loopers from the left, just couldn't find the first one!

On the simo driven pair, my head went and I didn't adjust until the last pair, dropped 3! Same on stand 10, didn't adjust the leeed until the last pair, dropped another 3. Doh! Ah well, it all adds to life's rich tapestry! There's always next time..... ;) :p :D

Thanks Clever. Sorry, didn't stay around long after I'd finished, so not sure of other scores, but fingers crossed for ya! ;)

Good layout again Steve, and with the class score breakdown, you got it right.

Myself and Tiptop turned up a bit later today and the traffic on the stands was zero. Nice steady stroll.

Everyone today I spoke to rated the targets and enjoyed it.

Met another couple of lads from the forum for the first time and had a good chat with some old friends (Piers & shut one eye Durrant)

I see Weston again next week Steve?

We must be due a home game soon at Westfield (ESP).

When was the next Saturdayy at Windrush?

Stew

Steve,

One comment, as we were early and ran into the ALWAYS queue spot, which is the farthest stand from clubhouse. Today it was the r-l long midi and teal. This is always a bad queue stand as it is crossover between clockwise and anti clock shooters. Today it was 5 pairs on report. 4 pairs sim needed here really..

It is Weston Wood on Sunday again.... whole new layout.

Plans to change the fixture for 8/9th Sept from FITASC on both days at WEstfield to FITASC on the Saturday, Registered Sporting on the Sunday (9th Sept) - any views?

As others have said, a Westfield ESP seems overdue, so thumbs up from me.
