This might be the best weather of the b/h weekend, so glad Weston was on.
Target wise, there was the usual consistently firm theme, but nothing daft. I enjoyed it. Steve showed he is human as stand 1 trap died before I could start on it. A whole new trap brought in I think! I shot it later.
I had a bereavement recently and had not shot since, so I started (on stand 2) worried that my head would be elsewhere; which made it be! 5 targets away from 10, on a stand that I really should have expected to straight, or drop 1. It was basic over-leading, which is my classic tension symptom.
I buckled down and had a good rest of round, only dropping another 10, for 85. Kicking myself for the shabby start, as I feel 88 or 89 might just take A class..
Very enjoyable round.
Anybody know more about scores?
