Just “built” a false floor for the FFRR boot to raise the dogs crate and create an area below it to store the guns and other shooting kit - should get guns in slips diagonally and lots of other kit  in there - really pleased - needs coating and some more tweaks but it seems to be a viable solution so very happy with it - was going to get a drawer system but storing guns broken down is great for security but isn’t very practical on a Shoot day -  saw a few systems of the type I have built that others had put together - added bonus was it cost almost nothing just some time and a little bit of effort

Oh, lots and lots!

:) :) :)

3 years of graft and challenges and frustrations coming to fruition and things are starting to fall in to place! 2019 clay season is going to be interesting!

Caught up with the latest Behind the Break podcasts. Great interview with Zach Kienbaum and some coverage from the SE Regionals.

Checking over a sxs I bought for £10.00.

Back from having barrels & bits blued broken spring fixed and dent raised ( can't tell it was ever there)  and tightend up looks good and didn't cost  a fortune to do.

Bought a slab of  32gm # 5 . Filled up my lockable magazine case with 7 boxes of those and 7 boxes of 30gm 6 .   Moved all the slabs of clay cartridges from the cellar to an upstairs room as it gets a bit damp down there in in winter . Sorted out my big hold-all which has all my gear in.

DT11 woodwork dropped off, the horrible lacquer/true oil finish to be stripped off then redone with a traditional oil finish,

Went on a simulated game day! [emoji95]
