What did you do today that’s shooting related?

Popped over to Longridge to shoot with a chum, Clynt of this parish, was a planned afternoon to have someone who is a very good shot, will be firm with his advice / words to look at how I approach left-rights. Had a few pointers / observations given, all constructive and will try to keep to / use them. Not for one moment do I think this change will all be done (operator errors/brainfarts) overnight / instant success, I can however see the positive side of the afternoon and that for me is a   Ta chum

Broke the barrel in on a new .17 hmr . Then zeroed it at a shade under 30 metres in absolutely perfect conditions . Going to book and hour on 100 metre tunnel to finish the job .

Jumped back into it after Covid lockdown today with Ben at EJs for a couple of hours.

Surprisingly everything is still intact, no real issues other than some timing issues on very slow birds - rust in that respect. Methods otherwise where they were.

Planning to get back onto the Reg scene starting this weekend

Pumped enough lead into the air to burst all the clouds and make it flood.

Total: 1 mangy wood pigeon, 2 fat squirrels.
