Just picked this out of a partridge I had for dinner, disappointed I did put it in it .  (see attached)

On another note, is lead shot not more uniform?

Guess I've been lucky! I've had pheasant and pigeon this weekend just gone, both shot by myself, and didn't get any shot in my mouth when eating it!

Must have winged them.... ;-)

You picked a key board out of a partridge.

Well done.
It was trying to find out the effects of shot string on the forum when it realised it hadn't accounted for POA and the resulting POI.

Apparently it was satisfied the correct choke was used. :)

Head shot with solid slugs?? ;)

Well done!

It doesn't make any difference how closely you examine something you find in a sausage.  Even if you decide you know what it is you won't be any happier.

Look like peppercorns to me.

Now I know what FBlack cartridges are filled with.  But what the heck are the Blu ones?

Sorry. I'll get my coat.

Game shooting ones are different BTC3...... !

Pssst....look for pink

Nic, you're no fun sometimes!

Thread drift seems to be a fine tradition here, I was merely dabbling at same.

And anyway, you know I use FB on your recommendation!

Yes and that is why I said.......look for pink ones....

Pink always brings them down.....honest

Many years ago, before I started shooting, a patient came in saying he had lost a filling, producing the said filling from his pocket and handing the small, round lump of metal to me. I looked around his mouth and, unable to find a hole to match the lost filling, I asked him what he had been eating at the time the filling came out.
"Er.....game pate"

Nowadays I would recognise lead shot but I'd never even seen a shotgun then let alone recognise the contents of a cartridge

Well thank you all...I dreamt of this after reading thread last night
