Loads of people asking us how is this white gold challenge going to work....?"
Simply put:
Rock up at the qualifying ground and head to the White Gold Challenge Arena - you won't miss it, it's very well lit up!!
Check in at the Arena - £18 to shoot once, any re-entry that day is only £10. It is 20 birds BUT If you are one of the 16 qualifiers in your Category that day you will be back on at 2.30pm to shoot head to head with the other 15 people in your category. There is of course no additional charge for this but to go all the way you will have shot another 80 birds by the end - come prepared!
Example:
16 people qualify in Silver and 16 in Gold.
Pairs are drawn out of a hat for who is against who.
8 Pairs shoot, 8 people from each category will be knocked out at the end of this 20 bird round
Immediately following this round, the remaining 8 people from each category, (4 pairs) will line up to shoot another 20 birds each. 4 will get knocked out from each category.
The remaining 2 in each category (1 pair) will line up again and shoot another 20 birds each, the winner of this round will win £50 and qualify to be in the final on 29th September to compete for the big money.
Any confusion remaining?
If you are the lucky qualifiers, you will be one of 32 other people in your category fighting for the top prize of £3000. If you are not the winner you could still win £1000 as runner up, £400 as a 3rd place winner (there will be 2 in each category) or £200 in 4th place (4 places in 4th place each category).
How it works:
"Compact layout" with 5 traps, you will shoot 10 birds then the next will shoot 10 birds. Swap stands. (2 stands each category)
Shoot another 10 birds each for your final score.
You will not have a menu in front of you.... you will have to shoot what you see. There are 5 programmes in the qualifying rounds that we choose from for you to shoot. No one will be able to memorise the order of play. It's a very level and exciting playing field.....
Hope this helps, any queries I'm sure you'll let us know!
