Met shortlegs today to support a charity close to my heart.nice too see so many shooters supporting this too, :)

A normal mr stone wylye set up ! Very good targets and well thought out ian hats off again..we started on first stand on left walking up 4 a couple off tricky quartering targets made harder by the sun but managed a 7/8 then on too a rabbit and looping standard thinging !!!!! 10/10 on that one so not bad the next rabbit caught me out..... came out came out like hell along the mat and then hit grass and slowed like hell so missed three in front !!! :(

See marky as we finished hope you shot well mate..

Kept going and ended on a 64/75....happy but not enough as a 70+ out there all day for big boys..

Thanks ian hope your raised what you wanted too...

Good shoot as you have said butty thoroughly enjoyed the shoot :eek:k:  , but second rabbit and edge on crosser stand total did me and the wheels came off :wild:  , happy with stand 7 close fast quartering on the bank followed by big long crosser on top of the bank 6/7 there, but left to many of the flat going away birds on stand 1 5/10 over the bloody top to finish 47/75 could/should have had a few more but there you go still enjoyed and had fun which is the main thing and raised funds for a very good cause. :good:   Challenging pool shoot to, hell of a good teal !

Agreed,a good fun shoot! I overled my last battue on 4 and also overled my first crosser on 3. I dropped 3 other targets by a rabbit bouncing as I shot,1 crosser dipped, the very next one jumped up in the wind! Finished on 70/75,so was quite pleased. Stuart Rudling and Paul Thomas were joint first on 73 and I think there were 3 of us on 70. I'm not sure if they were still adding cards up though,so there could be some others in the 70's.

That bloody pool shoot! Do you think I could get more than 8/10!? Could I heck! I had 5 attempts! All in the name of charity of course!

Shut me up !!! I ran and went for tea :D .....and hope to make A class average over 77 so hope too....you must be coming with me ? :)

Thanks to everyone who came today. I haven't seen the final totals for revenue but they were very pleased with the outcome. We had a budget for 100 entries but exceeded that by 30% so the result can only be positive. Supporting a cancer charity has to a good thing, there are few of us who haven't been affected by it in some way.

Pleased you enjoyed the shoot. Rudling and Thomas shared it with 73 with a group of three on 70, including Wayne. A whole bunch of people in the 60's. The pool shoot was a laugh, the teal was being broken at 75 yards so it was far enough away.

A sincere thanks again to everyone who came.

Well done ian you set the day we just come to beat ya !! Nice to know we raised a bit by shooting at silly clay things..!!!!!!! :D

I enjoyed it too. Shot a 64. As usual struggled to straight stands

Pleased to hit the distant thing on the hill 3 times - dropping the last one of course to ensure I didn't straight it :(

Glad it was a successful day for the charity

That's good that u will b going back up, I know u really wanted 2 get back up there : ) as for me I'll hav 2 join u in 6 months . my average is at 72.5 at the moment but once the scores start working for the next classification it should shoot straight up 2 A class average, I would of liked 2 of made it up there within the 6 months but couldn't quite do it .
Ian I'm glad the charity shoot was a great success, a very worth while cause and everyone got 2 hav fun while raising the money : )

Well done team.... great to see loads involved in making money for charity...
