Nipped down to Wylye this morning to make the most of the glorious sunshine and met up with Teepee, Robo, Robo's old man and "The Lemon" Had the vegetarian breakfast option this morning, egg sanger, and feel the lack of pig made me shoot like a leper :( was a certain dropper, but enough of my tales of woe and onto the good stuff.

A great course, only 11 stands but still plenty of variety and more than enough birds to make you think "wow thats tasty" Highlights for me were the blaze chondel thrown toward and slightly to the right from a fair way out, haven't seen many of these. Some stonking long crossers along the bank, a Wylye trademark. Shame there wasnt a driven but that was about the only presentation not on offer.

A lot of pairings that one of them needed a real steady gun and the other quick hands, something I am really struggling with at the moment is muzzle control on the slower stuff and was made very apparent by my score. Back to Wylye next Saturday to work on these methinks.

Finished of with some excellent lemon cake and a comparing of scores with Teepee scoring well and also Tiptop continuing his good form.

Great day out again, good to meet teepee and robo and finally get to have a chat.

My best score at wylye today won't say what it was just in case it was over inflated :) it may have just been a floppy doppy shoot???? :D :D

Had my best result at Wylye today as well but don't worry about your scores too much or it will hold you back. If you had a bad score you still tried to hit them all. Look at what went wrong and practice!

Was a good course but I never done it justice today , one of my lowest scores at Wylye for a long time !

Enjoyed shooting with Fuz, Tony and co and nice to chat with TipTop ... Well shot TipTop mate :)

Another good day out with the boys, finally got to sit and have a proper chat with Tiptop! Take-home cake to finish off a good day!

I shot a 69 today, but a bit disappointed that I left some out there - this is happening a lot (that feeling of not doing myself justice), so I need to get out and

practice more! :D ;)

Some lovely targets off the bank, a good mix IMHO (I think that bloke at Wylye knows what he's doing, ya know!)

Will be going back on Thursday and probably Saturday to see if I can find the misses, a la Fuzz! :D

What did you score Mark?

Would be good to say hello and put a face to the name next time we're at the same ground! :)

Never worry about my scores.

The remark about not saying what i shot was a bit tongue in cheek,as last time i posted that i shot well all hell broke loose about how soft shoots were becoming.

Was actually leading C class when we left but a lot of scores still to come in.

I shot an 80, my pbat Wylye. At that ground i usually shoot low 70's. Trying out new stuf stright after a lesson on a comp isn't usually a good idea but it orked today. As you i felt i could have put 3 or 4 on that score as I only straighted one stand and also had a bit of a melt on the simo crossers as i had to leave and return mid stand due to trap breakdown. Must work to ensure my shot routine does not allow this to be an issue( some work needed).
would be nice to meet some of you face to face. I usually shootGunsite, Wylye, 4C's

Regards, Mark

Well shot! A few of us are going to 4C's next Sunday for the 100 birder, so hopefully catch up there. :D

(I might even try Gunsite afterwards if we get round 4C's in a decent time!)
