Nipped down to Wylye this morning to make the most of the glorious sunshine and met up with Teepee, Robo, Robo's old man and "The Lemon" Had the vegetarian breakfast option this morning, egg sanger, and feel the lack of pig made me shoot like a leper was a certain dropper, but enough of my tales of woe and onto the good stuff.
A great course, only 11 stands but still plenty of variety and more than enough birds to make you think "wow thats tasty" Highlights for me were the blaze chondel thrown toward and slightly to the right from a fair way out, haven't seen many of these. Some stonking long crossers along the bank, a Wylye trademark. Shame there wasnt a driven but that was about the only presentation not on offer.
A lot of pairings that one of them needed a real steady gun and the other quick hands, something I am really struggling with at the moment is muzzle control on the slower stuff and was made very apparent by my score. Back to Wylye next Saturday to work on these methinks.
Finished of with some excellent lemon cake and a comparing of scores with Teepee scoring well and also Tiptop continuing his good form.
