Hi Rob,As I'm looking at getting back into registered shooting, being a lowly C Class :D , I could well be up for this. I will let you know nearer the time. Pity about you working on Saturdays though it would be good for you or anyone to see the type of targets on offer first , just to prepare you for the types and angles involved.

Dont let Andy fob you off with his "lowly C class" Ive seen him shoot and I wouldnt want to wager against him!Fuzrat.Ps Andy "I'm looking at getting back into registered shooting" have you been out of the game for a while? thought you had got the whirly gig bug :-D

Fuzzy,Well due to a complete lack of funds, shooting had to stop with only the odd Saturday down at Wylye and whirly gig outing at either A1 or Rugby over the past 10 - 12 months. Not been to Four Counties for ages either. That might be worth a meet up as well. I do love shooting ZZ though.

Know that feeling mate, its double trouble when the missus shoots as well isnt it. Been thinking about doing a bit more now I have a new job and Michelle is more secure in hers. Excuse to go gun buying again :-D the 20g is far too expensive to feed on clays and my 24 inch barrel escort auto, while the dogs danglers in a pigeon hide, is not really the way forward for clays!Fuzrat

Right then - who is up for this? I'm happy to drive - and have space in the car for anyone travelling from the Windsor/Maidenhead area... Let me know and we can make arrangements.

Yep I'm up for it Matt , I will meet you there. Ive never been before and it will be my first Reg' Comp'What  time shall we say ? Im looking forward to it  Rob

Well - Map says it is 76 miles for me... so 11ish? I'll leave at 9.30Theres a sign for anyone in my area - 9.30 ish leave, happy to take passengers, no comments on my music taste.

Be pleased to see you on Sunday. Come and find me - I'll be the harassed looking bloke with the grey hair! Make yourselves known and I'll buy your drinks.

Wish I could make this, sadly will be away. Hope you have a good time guys and want to do it again.

OK Matt, 11'ish sounds good too me.....Thats very kind of you Wylye thanks... Im looking forward to shooting there and meeting up with some Shootclay members ! Rob

Tempted.. if only it was nearer. I have been a few years ago and agree it is a good ground; but it is 1hr 20m and not even a nice straightforward journey; so the many nearer options will likely win through. Will let you know if I have a mad rush of blood to the head.. Cheers,CSC3

Casting the net wider... and the ground has been on my to-do list for ages.

Over two hrs for me but it's a cracking ground so may well give it a whirl! They also do the best breakfast out of any of the grounds we go to!

Hi Matt,If I can grab a lift with you i'm up for it, happy to split the fuel and come to you etc.Does anyone know if they sell cartridges?  I have 75 but otherwise will be stuck. Can't hit a barn door at the moment, but should be good just to get out :)Cheers,Jon.

Hi JS. Of course we sell cartridges, don't worry. £4.50 a box for the odd box, any more by negotiation! Usually, RC2, CompX or NobelSport - all in plaswads.
