What gun did Vincent Hancock win gold with?

Ambiguous add for the dt11. He's quite good isn't he. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcVtsjzlbc8

    Don't upset the wife.

I agree for a current partner I think it's fine. Recent partners might be a different issue though.

Musto Clay Bag / Beretta Gold Cup Cartridge Bag

Being a fashionista I reckon the Bidwell is U-G-L-Y. Luckily he doesn't have a Krieghoff that would make it even worse.

Got the musto one, pretty good, well made, can hold all of what you want to hold.

Practice grounds where you can set the targets?

ha,yeah I meant really me moving, I wouldn't trust me with a trap either.

Practice grounds where you can set the targets?

Little far, just looked them up on bingle, how do they not get complaints, looks like they are in the middle of town backing onto a housing estate.

    Practice/training with full chokes?

I agree different things suit different people. I think though that it's interesting to question and ask what the top shots do, they may do things differently from each other (I suspect really they do things quite similarly though), same as it's interesting to hear what other people do on this...

Practice grounds where you can set the targets?

Anyone know of anywhere in the South West where the shooter is able to either set the target or change position in relation to the trap, ie walk closer/further away. Without having to have a lesson. I just want somewhere I can go and concentrate on a particular target and change it by moving...

    Maybe in Scotland

    Walking the course

I don't think it's that hard to remember what stands are where, and I only really meant to be able to get a good start so first couple of stands. I believe if you get momentum going well then that leads to more positive shooting which is a big part of getting a good score. Good scores I've shot...

    Walking the course

Just wondered if anyone bothered walking around and looking at the stands before shooting? Just to get into your head what's coming up - maybe positive or negative? and decide where can start and try to ensure a good first few stands.

    Practice/training with full chokes?

Ah you might have done even better if you'd changed your chokes!

    Practice/training with full chokes?

Question: I know it’s a popular view especially in sporting to choose 1 or 2 chokes and use them for everything. I lean more toward using all my chokes making sure of yardage, using multiple loads. What is your view? -Breeze "I’m in full agreement I change chokes all the time, even between...

    Practice/training with full chokes?

The top shots who use tight (3/4 full) chokes all the time then are they disadvantaging themselves by not using slightly more open 1/2's, obviously this isn't bourne out in results as they get the vast majority of the targets within the heart of the shot cloud I'm guessing. but if the shot...

    Practice/training with full chokes?

I think though if you repeat what your doing with the first chip then your a lot more likely to miss than knowing how to change the shot to make a better kill. I think it's a lot riskier repeating a chippy kill than slightly adjusting in the direction you feel the main pattern is. For me it...

    Practice/training with full chokes?

But I'd say a large section of targets are well in 35 yards.

    Practice/training with full chokes?

A lot of targets are a lot lot closer than 40yards and a lot show a load of clay so surely there is a disadvantage in using tighter chokes than necessary. I'm probably asking a question that's been dealt with a few times before I'm guessing! The comment about quality of kills is a good point...

    Practice/training with full chokes?

What I've found myself is I'm seldom actually going beyond 1/2 choke and mostly use 1/4 and cyl, majority of english sporting targets I think are within 40yards and show a bit of clay, think I've only put the full choke in couple of times over the last 5 months. I suppose my point is if I can...

    Practice/training with full chokes?

I don't tend to worry about it after I've changed them, I def don't blame them when I miss I know that's down to where I put the gun.
