    What will you do ?

Ian Coley Sporting, ground and shop closed 'til further notice. Looks very much like the grounds are taking control of the situation.

    What will you do ?

Looks like more shooting grounds are starting to heed the advice and close for at least a short period of time. The Clay Shooting Company are taking a break from their registered shoots under their control. (Westfield, Oakedge, Garlands). Grange Farm has also shut down as well.

    What will you do ?

Yet some of the grounds are still going to run the registered shoot anyway, just not as a selection shoot.  At the moment....carry on as you were.🙂

    Premier league 2020

So the premier league (southern section) kicked off today at EJC, and the (northern section) kicks off on the 1st March at Orston. With 59.5% of the places taken up in the southern section, and just 39% in the northern section, less than 50% over all, yes there is still time to register before...

    Stock alteration and refinish

Tim Greenwood or Midland Gun Services. I have had work done on 2 different guns by both. A Beretta that had the stock converted to a monte carlo and the grip altered by Tim, and a full custom stock for my Perazzi by MGS, both do excellent work.

Is clay shooting a declining sport?

    Agreed there Will.

Is clay shooting a declining sport?

Not been to EJC for while, so did't know they had put the prices up. Owls only went up this week. I thought by your comment that it was common place already. It will be interesting this year for the Premier League (south) when people turn up and it will be £42 + £3 levy. £45 for comp.

Is clay shooting a declining sport?

I've not come across any 42/37 shoots yet. Where are  they Will? Owls lodge.

Is clay shooting a declining sport?

Nothing much on registered locally, so ventured over to Barbury for a play. The place was rammed again, as always, so I wouldn't think clay shooting is on the decline. There were people from all age brackets there as well.  What will make people more selective about when and where they shoot is...

    Waterproof shooting jacket

I was lucky enough to win a Ridgeline Typhoon jacket.  I have used it a couple of times now, and it is an excellent jacket., waterproof and very light to wear. The only down side for me was the hood, which when rolled up and hidden in the collar, made the collar to balky. So much so that the...

    Disqualified

As always this is all over FB. 2 different people now, have mentioned that they were using young and inexperienced refs. There are plenty of pictures of the supposed altered travelling card. If there is alleged cheating in the top ranks, how far down does it go? So glad I don't waste my hard...

    Disqualified

Apparently so, according to one of the accusations, 12 years old kids were forced to alter the master card, then the said person would alter the moving cards on the way round. True or not? Who knows what really happened. Until an official statement is made from NSCA, then it will all be rumours...

    Disqualified

When you have 12 year old kids reffing a major world title then things are bound to happen. Not good for the sport to start with. Card tampering, why are the NSCA using individual cards and not a squad card for all 6 shooters? Less chance of tampering going on. As for the CPSA doing anything...

    British Open - High Lodge

Good luck tomorrow to all of those that have rightfully qualified to shoot in the finals for the CLASS medals  :good: , and not sneaked in through the back door in CATEGORY.

    British Open - High Lodge

Richie, as you know I'm not against qualification days, I just don't agree with the way qualification is done, so will not shoot it. But then again as of next year I will be eligible for the double entry, so if you you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I think not.

    British Open - High Lodge

That's exactly what I mean. Someone could quite possibly have shot less than you 'on the same day' in A class and still qualified for finals day...and come back and nick a medal/cash, in class. That is how farcical this competition is.
