    CPSA Majors “Competition Only”

L.o.l,😀. All you need to do now, is enter and hope there is a low Vets entry on the day. You can then still shoot sh*te and qualify for finals day for the BO. Even coming back to shoot in class, although you might not have qualified in class.😆 :frantics:

    CPSA Majors “Competition Only”

At the end of the day if you don't agree with it vote with your feet, and don't bother to enter. It's not compulsory. Simple. I have not shot the British Open ESP ever since they brought in the farcical qualification set up.

    CPSA Majors “Competition Only”

People will still be logged in on 31st January at 8pm, finger poised to get booked In for the weekend. Hopefully getting their preferred day and time. At least they won't have to sit up until midnight, but I will bet that the Sunday will nearly be sold out by then.😀

    This is the new discipline.

The first registered is at Dartford on the 19th Dec, no mention of entry fees on any ads for it though, that I have seen. I see Owls lodge are doing a '100 super sporting taster' in March, £55 entry, £10 in the prize fund, bacon roll, tea/coffee included in the cost.

    Another price increase

Suppose that was just wishful thinking, hoping Fiocchi wouldn't go up as well.

    Another price increase

That's the route I will be taking once I've used up my remaining Hull sporting 100's. Unless Fiocchi ramp up their prices as well.

    Another price increase

Just noticed that Hull cartridges have gone up £20/1000, at JC's. 😮

    This is the new discipline.

Well, it's now in the 'find a fixture' drop down box on the CPSA site. Lets see who will take it on, and what the cost will be.

    This is the new discipline.

I think it's just another discipline imported from the US, and the CPSA have decided to make it a registered discipline. Only time will tell if it will be a success over here.

    Another price increase

Whatever you do don't look at the price on JC's website then.😲

    Another price increase

On the rumour mill at the weekend, the price of clays is set to rise also. Best everyone braces themselves for another double whammy price rise again.

    This is the new discipline.

Probably won't be that much of a demand for it, so will probably end up another squaded mid-week shoot.

    This is the new discipline.

Just announced on the CPSA website, Super Sporting (SSP) is to be a new registered discipline. Super Sporting - now a registered discipline. - CPSA

    New discipline

Super sporting apparently becomes a CPSA registered discipline from the 1st Dec. So should start to appear in the scores, averages, fixtures, from then on. It will be interesting to see how well it will be received by the grounds and the shooters.

...And what figure would you put on the amount of grounds a shooter should/must shoot, to be able to gain a classification?  Bearing in mind some people might have disabilities or certain health issues that might prevent them from shooting certain grounds due to the terrain, and limit the...
