    gun fit ?

A few on here will poo poo any ideas about gun fit, and say its a myth, and all in the head. But I'll leave you with just a thought to ponder. I wonder how many of the top shots, especially the sponsored/ brand ambassadors, have got factory custom made stocks on their guns?

    gun fit ?

I find that any new gun off the shelf is way to low in the comb. I have my Beretta gold e, that has been cut and shut by Tim Greenwood, converted to a monte carlo stock. Then my P gun that has a full custom stock made by Roberto at MGS. That also has a monte carlo stock. When both guns are laid...

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

Good question. But I would imagine with the chokes fitted, as you wouldn't do a pressure test on anything with component parts missing, would you? Never having had a multi choke conversion done on a gun, what kind of Guarantee or warranty is given for the work carried out, and for how long?

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

So you have been happily shooting this barrel conversion for a year, with no known issues. Then all of a sudden choke/barrel damage occurs. To me this can only be one of two issues here. Either there was damage to the choke before it was fitted, or a material issue with the choke, as you say it...

Resin clays to be the norm.

Trouble with the shooting community any price increase and off they go, you know what its like, when cartridges go up £5 a thousand. :girlwah: You need to take them new chokes back to Ivan, and tell him they don't work.😂

Resin clays to be the norm.

Especially after the grounds have put their bit on as well.

Resin clays to be the norm.

Just been watching a video of GD at CCI clays. As of the beginning of October Coal tar pitch has been banned by the ECA. This means the end of the clay target as we know it. CCI have already started production of the new resin clays. Brace yourself for the price increase.

Shouldn't there be a glut of cartridges?

Nothing on the price of cartridges, you just get free delivery.

Nope, goes on your age and gender. You pay one fee and you can end up in 3 class/categories if it all falls right. You could be in juniors, ladies, and class, if you are female and under 21. Females over 60 get 3 goes in vets, ladies and class. If you happen to be female between 21-59 you get...

    Sporting Shoots 2020

Quite right, the best shooters will qualify for the final, and best shot on the day will be British Champion. The rest though, unless they have delusions of grandeur, are competing for their respective class medals. I don't see how it is right that someone can shoot badly, finish 70th in class...

    Sporting Shoots 2020

I've spoke to a few people that have asked about it, and the reply is nothing is going to change. There is a post on CPSA fb page this week, by one of the regional directors, and in that even he says that he has no idea about the qualification process, and had to ask Clare about it, he had to...

    Sporting Shoots 2020

The point being though, you don't have to shoot and be the best to get a place in the finals. In fact looking back at day one, there were 2 people that finished joint 70th, yes joint 70th of 82 A class shooters, and are back for finals with a chance of a podium finish in class, although they...

Shouldn't there be a glut of cartridges?

Why, as a manufacturer/supplier, reduce the price when you have non-perishable goods without a sell/use by date. Wouldn't make any sense. As for a glut, I would have thought production would have been reduced.

    Sporting Shoots 2020

... And yet there are people that shot less targets than you in AA, that have made the finals. Yes, they may have qualified in category, but they will also be eligible for a class medal and cash in the final, that they never qualified for. Not only that there are 3 A class shooters that never...

Widdington is and always has been notorious for trap break downs and no birds. It has now also become the most expensive 100 registered shoot as well. They have managed to do 2 registered shoots this year, and both have had the same issues. Glad I voted with my feet after last months shoot, and...
