Hangmanstone for me as well today, second squad out so missed the breakdown and got round in less than 2 hours. Missed last teal on stand 4, and was really happy to straight the sim pair on 9, and did ok on the rest for 87, one away on a few and missed 3 of the longer looper on 7, and kicked...

I'm happy with the squadding system, especially on weekends when I like to get out early and get my shooting done. Knowing that it's going to take a couple of hours at the most suits me.

Had Thursday and Friday off work to get some shooting in. Started at EJC registered on Thursday, shot ok for 86 but a bit untidy in places, missed a crow on the first stand and a floppy teal on the last, then headed to Sporting Targets for a bit of a practice. Stayed in Peterborough overnight...

Very mixed for me. Enjoyed both courses, nothing daft on either and shot fairly well; 88 on blue yesterday and 84 on red today. Just a shame that on my way this morning someone pulled out on a roundabout near home and went into the front corner of my car, luckily nobody was hurt and everything...

Steady 90 at Churchills today, good mix of targets and perfect weather for it; didn't get too hot and barely any wind. Shot most of it quite well, missed 2 of the really close rabbits on 2 and 3 of the long, slow crossers on 7 where I wasn't positive enough. 

Very windy, but dry morning at Four Counties today. Was the Berkshire County Championship and it was stepped up a bit with some testing birds, but despite the conditions I didn't have any affected by the wind. I shot fairly well for 88, again I shot the longer stuff really well but went in...

Owls was pretty tasty today, this was the toughest shoot I've shot since starting back. Shame I missed some steadier targets as I managed to find most of the longer stuff, only one straight as well, scraped an 80.

I've had bit of a weekend of it. Had a great session at Grimsthorpe on Friday with Ed, shame that it rained all day but still got some good shooting in.  As grounds go it's one of the best I've ever shot at, lovely terrain with a game/tower arena that feels like you are standing on a game...

Another reasonably consistent weekend behind the gun. 86 at Ham Cross yesterday, my first visit and a very impressive bit of ground with a nice mix of targets.  Just took my eye off the ball a few times, missed one or two on most stands.  Bit unlucky with lots of no-birds on stands 8 & 10...

92 at Owls Lodge yesterday, good course again with a few sim-pairs (5 I think) and 88 at Willoughby Hedge this morning.   That was a more awkward shoot with clays on the first four stands being a bit of an eyesight test; some I hit and didn't even know.  I shot 50 straight stands 5-9 though...

Nice to see you as well. @Will Hewland wasn't an easy course, I was very happy with 90.  I was first up on stand 12, first bird wasn't very nice but the person behind me started to go on about how nasty it was which got in my head a bit, missed 3 there which was my worse stand.

Decent course at Owls today, felt like the toughest I've shot since starting back up with probably only one stand that was relatively straightforward. Bonus was the weather being perfect for shooting, 87 for me which was enough for second in A.

I did ok today, 90 at Hangmanstone and once again dodged the rain. Missed 2 teal on stand 3, 2 of the long loopers on 6 (tried taking the first 2 early and missed, then next 2 I let run on and I opened up a good gap) and 3 of the long battue on 9, don't think I gave it enough.

84 at Honesberie this morning, nice round with a bit of everything and a couple than needed a good gap. I got it wrong in a couple of places, missing first pairs completely on 7 (just didn't give either enough lead) and 8 (being way too careful) rest was just untidy missing 2 overheads on first...
