The gun I have has had the comb cut away and leather and foam added by a trap shooter. If I can find an MK38 Grade 5 comb, off another gun, I can fit it and get Tim Greenwood to blend the grain in.

I have an Mk38 trap which measure 0.032"  So a tight 3/4.  I use the gun for game so want to keep the chokes the same.  Otherwise, I'd have 2 x 3/8th in there.   I used to have Multichoke guns, but as an Engineer...... found myself analysing each stand and putting in the appropriate choke for...

My findings on Fibres and BIORS are covered in another post.  Against a 9" Plaswad pattern at 20yds, they give 18" to 20" in diameter.   Its important to me as I shoot a fixed choke gun.  As I seen this video, I though that a cartridge with that wad in would be a good shell for me.  I am off...

The missus tells me that when I am 'mucking about' my full choke blows the pattern and I have to clean the bowl!!!!!!

So I found an old box of Fiocchi 28grm TT Ones 7.5's. I patterned it at 20yds and it gave me a 15" diameter pattern  which is bigger than my 9" Superb pattern at the same range. Certainly at £70/1000 cheaper than Hull Pro Puston that's enough of a shell for me to shoot out to 30yds comfortably.

Anybody know where I can get a grade 5 adjustable comb from?  It's the wood I need. Cheers

I have 6000 ELEY VIP 28gram Plastics for sale.  I can let them go for £290/1000 I am in the West Midlands in Nuneaton Quite a big saving on them now.

Morning all, What's people's opinions on 24gram shells, and are there any recommendations on them? I shot a budget shells the other week and not only was it smoother, but it powdered the sporting targets I pointed it at!

If your gun shoots tight patterns with your usual shells, I'd say that a cheap fibre with low antimony would definitely be the shell.

The first pattern us the superb plaswad 7.5 . Just left of centre. 2nd the F3 BIOR 3rd the Hull Pro Piston 9 4th the Superb Fibre 8's Sorry, but you'll have to zoom in. My black marker had dried up!

I'll colour them up and take pictures in the light. 9's are teeny weeny and hard to see 🤣 Just so you know, the Superb 8's measure a pretty consistent 8.75......

I went in to the shop to get those very shells.... However, they had no stock.  All of the shell suppliers are way behind and the gunshops are just taking stock of what they can get. I will pattern that shell when I can get my hands on them and report it here
