    Glasses for over ear defenders.

The Pilla 580 are a fair bit cheaper than the ubiquitous Outlaw X7/X6 They’re a partial frame design with individual lenses rather than a frameless mask style, so you need to be sure you can get along with having a frame. The frames cost around £120 and lens £100 for a pair. If you buy more...

I'm happy to admit that I shoot with an IC choke

This is pretty much why I opted for modified top and bottom

How very dare you! 🤣 Ask for Dave Ferriman (gun room manager) or John Hartog

    Sale or return firearms dealers

More midlands really, but I’m sure sporting targets just north of Bedford do brokerage sales

    Another shooting ground closes.

I wonder if customers would be willing to pay for GPS tracking, or possibly RFID passive tags for a lower cost option. Maybe it would cost the average shooter an extra penny a target, but a price increase I’d be willing to accept if it helped reduce theft and helped prevent grounds from closing...

    Blaser F3 custom?

Could be. Manuel Ricardo is very cost effective and he has 30 years experience as a stocker. At those prices, I reckon if fancy wood isn’t something you’re overly concerned about, or you have suitably deep pockets, one could have new stock every couple of years or so as you perfect your...

    Blaser F3 custom?

Can’t be that’s the reason, surely? One only needs a quick scout around tinternet and will find many a complaint about triggers, barrel regulation, choke seating etc. I’m sure Krieghoff are good guns, better than others? Well, I think that may be a bit like saying Catholicism is better than...

    Laser projection simulator training aids

There are at least two. I’m sure I’ve seen three. Maybe four. I even considered building one myself.  I have used the Swedish made Marksman set up at Wadswick Country Store in Corsham, Wiltshire and I was quite impressed, but... It isn’t shooting. It’s a very inert experience.    I had an...

    I have two. And an F16 😁

    Blaser F3 custom?

I’ve been informed that Ian Milliner has a Blaser F3 try gun. He’s also Blaser’s only appointed/trained service gunsmith. Coombe Farm Sporting, Orston Shooting Grounds, E J Churchill I’m reasonably sure can/do all arrange factory visits. Malmo Guns, Premier Guns, Braces’s of Bristol, Chris...

If you didn’t, what would you?

I would concur with this. I found a lighter gun for me was easier to get going, stop, change direction, adjust the sight picture. I started to think this had me going perhaps too light. I’m really not sure. I had a major issue until very recently that on quite a few targets I’d whip past them...

That’s what I was thinking AVO not Ohm. Thank you I’m such a ******* 🙄

If you didn’t, what would you?

Had me howling that did 🤣🤣🤣 That just about describes my stock dimensions too. “The midgets gun” as Ed S calls it. “the shortest stock [he’s] ever shouldered” (He still bloody hit everything with it anytime he’s picked it up)

Haha. Indeed. I was using a brand name as vernacular. Back in the day, “Ohm” meter was as much a brand as Fluke is today. Showing my age a bit there 😬

If you didn’t, what would you?

Hmm... money no object eh?  Now you have me thinking about the Purdey Sporting Clays in 12 gauge with the drop out trigger group and some custom engraving. 🥰😜 Should be north of £100k I’m guessing  I do think this is important. Ok, not life changing, existential, change the world important...

    Covid tier system.

Great point and not something I can personally answer with any real sense of accuracy, but in a generalist point of view, some data is better than no data, well, up to a point. Going off on a bit of a tangent, but hopefully helps clarify what I’m thinking... Lets say for example we wanted to...

Most folks are too busy worrying about what people might be thinking about them to have time to be thinking about other people

    Covid tier system.

Systems for creating monoclonal cultures have been around for a very long time. Our system is just another one but offers many advantages over predecessor systems. Automation of low value labour intensity tasks, superior optical clarity, faster assay production, greater efficacy, greater...

    Covid tier system.

I’m not in anyway shape or form an expert on any of these matters, but I am close to some folks who are.    I can only convey what little I have learned over the last few months and the conclusions I have personally drawn, shared in the hope that folks may find hope in these difficult times. ...
