    Browning DS Chokes Again

For what is worth - DS factory chokes measured: XF = .042 Full = .o38 LF = .o26 IM = .015 M = .009 LM = .004 IC = .002 As you see there is quite a step between IM and LF - those are my prefered chokes for trap. When patterning - count goes steadily up until LF, after that it starts to...

    Damp cartridges

Got mine (2-3k) submerged completely for 4 hours (long story)...anyway - they worked very dirty the very first weekend. Then I left them in a boiler room over the winter, all went off like new.

Browning 725 pro sport vs Miroku mk38

76mm chambers are fine if you intend to use it for hunting as well since you can shoot 76mm hunting cartridges (or pay attention to use/buy only 70mm ones). If you intend to use it for clays only it doesn't matter - sport ammunition is all 70mm.

Pattern testing and related ballistic analysis if steel and other non-toxic alternatives

So - to summarize - if you are looking for the app. same amount of energy that you get with Lead, you need to go 0.1mm up with Bismuth and 0.2mm with Steel?

Browning 725 pro sport vs Miroku mk38

725 Pro has a better trigger and is fully adjustable (stock, weight), 725 has 70mm chambers MK38 has 76mm ones, 725 has backbored barrels and DS chokes, while MK38 has Inv+ chokes, 725 has vented ribs, while 38 has solid ones. Everything else is subjective and you should try them both before you...

Pattern testing and related ballistic analysis if steel and other non-toxic alternatives

I am shooting steel at clays occasionally for some time (app 5 years). I usually use Hull Pro Steel 28g No 7 (2.54mm) cartridges or Clever Steel, for sporting and trap as well. While steel may lack some on the furthest 2nd barrel olympic trap it is just fine for anything out to 50m or so. Last...

Here is a part that can I like: https://www.clay-shooting.com/coaching/advice-and-tips/raise-your-game-with-mark-winser/ It was posted on April the 12th 2019, with a notion "Be sure to keep an eye out for the next part coming soon!"...I am looking forward to the next part from then on, but so...

    Pattern plate & recoil.

Recoil is the same - the difference is perceived recoil when shooting non moving gun at static "dead" target and shooting with moving gun at moving "live" target.

    Balancing & weight distribution

Played with weight distribution couple of times. Any sensation regarding weight distribution eventually wore out once I got used to it and from there on it was (yet again) all down to basics – no magic bullet there for me.
