BrookBank aka Cheddar Valley Gun Club has been in existence for over 50+ years!  I shot  ISU skeet there 50 years ago,. As with all grounds they have had ups and downs with planners etc over the years!  The biggest problem with all grounds is NOISE!                   Wesley sells Hull and...

    Browning AI

Thinking about it I'm pretty certain it's a 30" game gun? It's a game forend the rib sounded like game, the chokes are right, Browning made some 30" Wildfowl guns with round knob stocks and that forend for the USA market but they would be grade 1s and not A1s  I would say 1969 is  not far out...

Fine looking Browning! Pin through the forend, the rib throws me? Should be 1/2" but this must be the start of the Sporters? Could still be inertia block trigger? Reminds me of a 30" game without the roach belly stock!? but who knows?

Not that I know of? 1970 the B25 was "modernised" done away with the pin through the forend and also put the year of the gun in the last two numbers eg  XXXXS73 denotes 1973 gun. The top strap on earlier B25s had a step in it modern ones don't!

I used to specialise in used B 25s!  I never seen or heard of any with chrome barrels?  A 30" A1 Sporter  should have a schnable forend, no trap pad on the stock but a black bakelite browning pad! If it has a trap forend it's a trap gun! Most trap guns had a  7/8" wide rib in general but I had...

    Cartridges co-operative?

Ian, you are correct! I was a licensed firearms dealer in the past and to store more than 10,000 you have to be a licensed FA dealer and have approved storage!

    50th European FITASC 2017 Dorset

Yes it did! spoiled a good shoot!  Peg  1 on ? layout ,  Low with bad background cost me 5 out of 8 targets! No Good!

    50th European FITASC 2017 Dorset

Normally shooting in amongst trees as in a clearing in woodland! but basically  short windows are short shots, not close shots! No good for older people or shooters with slow reactions or poor eyesight which results in them rushing the targets or only firing one shot!

    50th European FITASC 2017 Dorset

It looks quite reasonable land, should be some interesting parcours? not overjoyed at the thought of a short window layout, had enough of them in the USA!

I am led to believe that the parrot turned cannibal and devoured Rossi before he could load his gun?
